An exciting year ahead for Social Sense

Firstly, we hope you all had a good festive break and we wish everyone a Happy New Year!

It’s easy to feel gloomy in January now Christmas is over and it’s back to pre-sunrise alarm calls, but it is a great time to reflect on the past year and look ahead to future plans.

2016 was great for us; an office relocation, new website launch, award win and the team doubling in size are amongst some of our achievements.

This year is set to be an even busier one and we wanted to remind you about the fantastic programmes that we will be running across the UK:

RUD-logoOur longest running and award-winning programme R U Different? aims to correct teenagers’ misperceptions and improve behaviours around smoking, drinking alcohol, drug use and more. We tailor messages and campaigns to your schools’ needs ensuring they are fun, interactive and youth-led.

mindful-meAs a response to the growing anxieties and pressures young people face today, we have created a unique evidence-based programme combining mindfulness techniques and life coaching methods to empower young people to control and manage their emotional health. We also have a staff training programme available.

ctzn-logoCommissioned by the Home Office, CTZN is a ground-breaking new mobile social media platform for 13-18 year olds, built by Gencia, that recognises and rewards positive action within communities. A pilot programme is currently being rolled out in the Greater Manchester region in partnership with Greater Manchester Police. 130 organisations have signed up to provide enriching activities for teenagers to access via the app.

If you are interested in our programmes or would like to discuss anything else we can help you with, we would love to hear from you. Please get in contact on 0161 216 4080 or email

We wish you all well for the year ahead!
